The A Custom series is based on the classic A cymbals, but manufactured with a new hammering method that makes the cymbals thinner. Developed in collaboration with Vinnie Colaiuta (Sting, Frank Zappa, Chick Corea), the sound is tailored to modern rock and pop. The sound is usually described as "sweet" ? not too dark and not too light ? and with a good impact in a band context, without overpowering the rest of the drum kit. All A Custom cymbals come in a brilliant finish. 20th Anniversary To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the A Custom Series, Zildjian has developed a brand new ride that is sure to be a must for all drummers. An all-round cymbal that can be used in most musical contexts, the 20th Anniversary ride has all the A Custom features, symmetrically hammered, brilliant finish, medium-thin for a balanced sound that is not too high or low. It also has a strong, piercing bell, perfect for Latin-style. As icing on the cake, the cymbal has a cream-colored, white logo and a special mark to mark the anniversary.
